Ali Gerba is a recognized soccer professional and a prolific striker. Entrepreneur and coach since 2014, he decided to put his talent and exceptional qualities in front of goals for the benefit of young attackers.


After a stint at the prestigious Bollettieri Sports Academy (now IMG Academy) in Florida (1998-1999), his professional career officially began in 2000 when he joined the Montreal Impact. In his first season, he collected six goals and two assists, a record that is a team record for a rookie.

He will wear the colors of Montreal during the 2002, 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2011 seasons. He accumulates several records there: the most goal  quick one game (18 seconds); three goals in three consecutive games; a record of ten goals in fifteen games in 2010.

He also became the all-time leading scorer for the Canadian team at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.


Ali Gerba has also played for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Toronto Lynx and Toronto FC.


His international career also took him to Europe where he played for Swedish (2005-2007), Norwegian (2006), German (2008) and English (2008-2009) teams, during which time he posted an impressive record a striker.


Ali has received several distinctions, including the Ballon d'Or du Québec in 2002 and was named Best Professional Player, Excellence Level in 2008, 2009 and 2010 by the Quebec Soccer Federation.

Mission

The Soccer Development Center is on a mission to fill a void in existing training programs in order to allow players from here to aspire to a possible international career.

Vision

The Center also aims to be a place to implement globally recognized practices in level of player development. It offers physical and psychological training level to help young hopefuls reach their full potential. These are also supported in order to identify the best decisions to make for their development, both both personal and professional.
